Happy Halloween

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..

Are you scared yet?? ha ha ha, Happy Halloween. I know it's an American tradition, but this year`I have decided to get into the spirit of things and tonight i am going to the Halloween Moonlight scrap down at Tomorrow's Memories, where Tracey has gone to a lot of effort to organise a Halloween themed night. I know she has organised lots of little Trick and TREATs throughout the night and I am really looking forward to it!!
We have to make sure that we are dressed up for the evening, so I'm going as a witch!!

I will definitely take heaps of photos and share them with you tomorrow..

Speaking of Tomorrow's Memories, If you live in Perth, they have got some Amazing Specials beginning today and I would definitely recommend you go and check them out.. Lots of bargains to be had!!

It's our favourite song together - We love singing to it at the top of our voices and dancing to it!

I'm Back..

Well I'm back from my scrap camp over the weekend. I had such an awesome, time, met lots of great ladies, had many laughs and a few too many drinks, but that is all part of the fun!
Spending lots of time with the boys today, i think they missed me - I hope they did..ha ha ha.
Here are the layouts that i completed over the weekend... ( pretty happy that i finished 7 layouts..)
MY 3...

I had a bit of a thing with clusters over the weekend. The next layout is a photo of Nic, that i played around with the colours of it.. I just love this photo.

Timeless
Do you love my cluster...

The next layout is a class that i completed on Saturday arvo, with the lovely Lynlee.. For those of you who know me, I don't do PINK.. ha ha ha, but i must say it was a bit refreshing to do so!! And i also scrapped a photo of Adam and I, which i don't normally do..
You R Devine

My Little Garden Gnome
Can you see my little Dragon fly - Also punched`out the paper flowers and inked them to look vintage.
Wonder and Awe
This layout was one of the challenges over the weekend, you have to create a grid like page including 4 photos and 4 different patterned papers ( I used 3 PP and on overlay as my 4 option)

La La La

Sam is always singing around the house at the moment, so i just had to scrap him singing..He would make a perfect Choir boy what do you think??
Now and Then - and everything in between
The last layout is of my mum and dad, I just love both of these photos and thought i could include them on the same page. Had great fun stamping on acetate and cutting them out - can you tell! ( another flower cluster.. ha ha ha)

So as you can, see, i did heaps of scrapping , had an absolute ball and can't wait to go back again.. I have a couple more to show you tomorrow, I just have to finish off some of the journalling on the computer.
Hope you all had a great weekend!

Scrap Camp

Well for those of you who are scrappers, you would understand how excited i am to be going away for a whole weekend to scrap... Country Papercraft is holding their annual camp in Bruce Rock and I am going tomorrow afternoon until Sunday. I am really looking forward to meeting all the lovely ladies that i have been talking to over the Internet but i am also sad that a few from the eastern states won't be there! I have packed heaps to do, but i can see myself doing a lot more talking and drinking than scrapping... ha ha ha!

Hopefully I will have heaps of layouts to show you on Monday.. But until then, here is one i did today - Just because!!

Have a lovely weekend and make sure you - MISS ME!!!

Scrap Layouts

Here are the 2 layouts i was talking about yesterday. The first one is from the Monday night class that i did down at Tomorrow's memories with Tracey. We were asked to journal everything that we do in a day and take photos of parts of our day!! It was a great class..

The second layout is a Christmas page using the new Making Memories - Fa la la - paper range.. These would have to be some of my most favourite photos of Sam. This was from his first Christmas. ( The colours are definitely more vibrant in real life..)
Here is a close up of each page..
Don't you just love the new gold glitter i bought down at the shop today!!!
I couldn't resist adding a little Santa Claus to my page... Hence why it is called - Santa Clause is coming to town.

Planting Strawberries

Bunnings....

On Sunday, Adam took Sam to Bunnings to give me a break for an hour and they came back with a few pots of strawberries.

It was very cute that afternoon to watch them plant and water their new strawberries..

Don't you just love the gloves!!

Nic came to check it all out!!
He definately wants to be included in everything now.... there is no stopping him, that's for sure.. Add some water... and Hey presto... Strawberries, ready to grow... Hopefully i can post at a later date when we pick our first strawberry... How exciting is it going to be to scrap these photos.. I can't wait to do it!!
I love watching Adam play with Sam, it is so lovely to watch them interact and Sam just loves his Dad...
In other news, I went and did a class last night at Tomorrow's memories, that Tracey had organised and i just loved my page that I completed, I will post the layout tomorrow, it's too dark to take a photo now! (Thank you Susan for helping stick down all my journalling)

Scrap Happy..

Yipppppppppeeeeeeeee...
Well i have finally got a chance to do some Scrapping this weekend and have completed 2 layouts. The first one is of a photo from Adam and my wedding ( can you believe that it was nearly 8 years ago...) I am loving the tree that i made.. I cut out all those flowers from another piece of patterned paper and stuck them onto to the tree using mounting tape for a 3-d effect...

The second one I completed is an A-Z of words that describe Sam.. You might remember i did one of Nic a few weeks ago.. ( there is a picture of it, in a previous post..) I have changed some of the words that suit Sam better...

Adam has returned home from Esperance. He went down there for work, this week... I went to Mum's for a few days, but have decided that it is probably easier to stay home now. Sam was good for the first day, but by the second he got the Devil into him and was into everything... ha ah ha.. The boys also woke at about 4.30am both mornings and never really went back to sleep... So as you can imagine, both mum and I were pretty buggered after the 2 days!!
I worked the Friday night Crop down at Tomorrow's memories which was a lot of fun, and my beginners class yesterday went really well... Adam had golf today so the boys and I just stayed around home and had a quiet day... Whatever you did, hope you all had a lovely weekend!
