Rocking Around the Christmas Tree

O, CHRISTMAS TREE
One of my most favourite memories when i was growing up was putting up our Christmas tree. We would put on some Christmas carols and as a family we would decorate the Tree. It was so lovely to do this with my boys and Adam on Thursday night..
It was probably the first time that Sam has been old enough to actually help.. Nic was just more interested in the box.

It was very cute, Sam just kept saying... That's amazing!

Sam loved it when Adam lifted him up to put the Star on top of the tree...

I have added a few sparkles on my camera to make the tree look like this, but i think it looks gorgeous..

Busy Weekend

Well what a busy weekend....
After work on Saturday I spent the afternoon making a Twiddlybitz Advent Calender which was a lot of fun.. It's not totally finished just yet, so i will hopefully post a photo of it later in the week.

Saturday we spent the night celebrating my cousins 21st, which was great fun. Before we went Mum and Dad organised some drinks at their house so we could celebrate Brett and Maggie's engagement. unfortunately Adam hasn't been well all week and couldn't come so he stayed home with the boys. here a few photos from Mum and dad's house.
Pop open the champagne!
Matt and Renee look really gorgeous..

The Happy couple..
Mum and dad are so thrilled for Brett and Maggie..

My gorgeous Dad and Me..

Here is a photo taken at the Cottesloe Hotel where we celebrated Mike's 21st.
I love this next photo of myself with Matt and Brett..
Hopefully will get some scrapbooking done this week and post a few projects for you later in the week.

Scrap Layouts

I went to a class last night at Tomorrow's Memories and completed this gorgeous page that Tracey designed for us to do. It is very cute and I love the little houses...

I also completed another layout today using the Halloween photos from a few weeks ago...

It was very cute today, Sam and Nic spent the afternoon splashing in the pool..

Guess who can nearly walk????
While we were away Nic started taking a step between the coffee table and the couch.. He can now take about 3 - 4 steps and then falls down, but i would give him another week or so and I think he'll be walking all the time!!

WHERE HAVE I BEEN???

HOLIDAYS ~ WEDDINGS ~ ENGAGEMENTS

Well it has been a busy few weeks for our family.

Before i go on any further we had some very exciting news in our Family this week. My younger brother Brett proposed to his gorgeous girlfriend Maggie on Wednesday night. He was very romantic and sent her 12 red roses, a day spa voucher for the afternoon and then took her out to dinner for the big proposal. We are so happy for the both of them, they are just perfect for each other and I wish them so much love and happiness together...

We have just spent a week up in Kalbarri which was great fun. The boys just loved going to the beach and playing in the sand. I think i will give you more of an update on this later in the week, because there is so much to tell, but here are a few photos from our holiday..
Sunset..

Sam in the Sand..

Nic was quite intrigued by the pelicans...

I even managed to get a little bit of scrapping done while i was up there. Here is a page i completed and i have also begun a rather large..( ha ha ha, was supposed to be small..) christmas album..

Last night Adam and I went to one of my closest friends wedding. Matt and Rach were married at the Blue water Grill, looking over the river and I must say it was truly magnificent. It was very special to be apart of their day.
Adam and I didn't scrub up too badly..ha ha ha..
Matt has 3 kids and with Rach's 2 little one's they all looked so gorgeous..

They both wrote their own vows and they were really beautiful.

Matt's daughter Amy sung Hallelujah for them, she was amazing and has a great voice for only being 16.
It was very funny to watch Rach's little boy Issac is the same age as Sam and he did such a good job standing there, but after a little while a 2 1/2 yr just can't do it anymore.. He was priceless..

How stunning is her dress.. It looked sensational!!

Nothing better than a hug from your dad!
Rach's twin sister Deb and Kim are also some of our closest friends and i love this photo of the 2 of them!! They look so happy together.
It was so good to spend the night with the girls i went to Uni with, we always have so much fun together!

I love these girls to bits!
Adam and I had such a great night!!

( The song you are listening to, is the song that i walked down the isle to at my wedding..not the best version of it, but thought i would be a little sentimental...LOL)

Leaf Throwing

A Special day with Nanna..

Last Wednesday mum came over to spend the day with the boys and I.. It was really good to get some cute photos of the boys playing in the leaves out the front. I absolutely love this photo of Mum and Sam...

Nic is so cute to photograph at the moment..

Poor Nic, was in the firing line of Sam's leaf throwing..

ONE.... TWO.... THREE...... Throw!!!!!

I just love the JOY on Sam's face..

Here are some close-ups i took of Sam..

I just realised he still has Vegemite on his nose from Lunch!!

We had a really busy weekend and I haven't had a chance to do any scrapping, which is a bummer, but I'm off to a class tonight down at Tomorrow's memories, so I'm looking forward to that..
