Welcome Home Daddy

Well Yesterday 2 little boys were very excited that their daddy was coming home from America. He had been gone for 10 days which must seem like a life time to these two.
This is the first time that I think Sam understood and missed him. Nicholas is a bit a of a Daddy's boy so i' am sure he felt it as well ( .. which may explain why he didn't sleep well for the whole Time..Grrrr.)

We decided to fill in the morning before we had to pick him up, by making some streamers and Making a cake for him.. Sam called it his " Home cake" ..LOL..( instead of his happy birthday cake!)

Don't you love this Photo of Adam that Sam drew.. too cute!

Adam bought them home this classic plane, that they can sit on.. They spent the whole afternoon pulling each other off it, to have " their turn"..

Up, Up and Away....
Adam bought Sam a harmonica.. He loved it!

We are glad you are home Daddy. xxxx

On another note: Adam is home tomorrow fro America , after 10 days, the boys and I are really looking forward to him coming home..

Here is the second task over at Country paper craft.. You had to complete a layout that was focused on the journalling. it had to have between 75 - 100 words..
Mine had 181 and it is a bit of a light-hearted look at being a Mother!!
Journaling reads:
I didn’t read the fine Print…

I am pretty sure I didn’t read the fine print when I signed up to be a Mother.. Because if I had read the fine print it would of said that you will be woken many times throughout the night. You will not get a full night sleep once they are born. You will be forever, cleaning up poop and sick and snot. You will have to learn to like drinking cold cups of tea. You will become an expert at washing your hair, brushing your teeth and shaving your legs in the shower all at the same time. No longer will you be able to go to the toilet without a shadow. Eating Dinner standing up will become the norm.. I wouldn’t have the best hugs a child could ever give, I would never experience the look of trust between a mother and their child. I would never experience a love that is so unconditional..
But then if I didn’t experience all of these things I could not be called a MOTHER.. Could I???

Boots..

"It's Raining , It's Pouring the Old Man is snoring, He bumped his head on the end of the Bed and and couldn't get up in the morning...."

Well The rain is on it's way later in the week and I thought that was a great excuse to buy the boys their Thomas Boots for Winter.. They are very cute!!

Some Good and Some Not so Good..

"Is how I would describe my Digital Scrapping at the moment"...LOl...
I feel like I have started way back like a beginner( which i am..) But I figure I just have to keep doing layouts to practise my skills and learn new techniques.. But they are pretty simple looking pages..

This layout is the 3rd class in the Jessica Sprague series of classes that i have been taking..It is awesome..

Have a great Sunday, whatever you are doing!!

When Art Imitates Life...

Have you ever thought that kids just get it right every time...LOL
Sam was painting this morning, and i said to him.." Who's That?"
He said.. " It's you, Mumma"
Well I had to laugh, because if you look at the painting it seriously looks like me this morning, my hair is a Mess and my eyes are red and look like they are hanging out of my head, because I went out to dinner last night for Carmen's Birthday ( which was such an awesome night of laughs and chatter..) until about 11pm and then the boys both didn't have a great night's sleep and were awake at 5am, so you could say i am a bit Tired..
Anyway, thought it was such a classic painting that I had to share it with you!

More Digi scrapping

I had a go at doing a page all by myself and it didn't come out to badly...LOL.
Tonight is Tomorrows Memories 5th Birthday Moonlight Celebration. It should be a night of high glamour and extravaganza...LOL ...
I Will take lots of photos and share with you over the weekend..
