How could I tell him off...

These pictures probably don't do the story justice, but I'll tell it anyway....

During Nic's sleep today i said to Sam that i was going to close my eyes on the couch and have a rest as well and he could sit and do something quietly.. So after about half an hour i woke to find Sam sitting among a whole lot of white paper and he had used his scissors to cut into EVERY piece of white paper that was in his scrapping box... I asked him.. " Sam what are you doing cutting all those papers?.." and he says to me.." Mum i am just practising my cutting for school.." it made me laugh... Thank God the papers were anything important..

... and as for Nic... Well maybe i shouldn't have iced our cup-cakes with red icing ... it stains!!

Raphael

Sam has fallen in love with the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles at the moment.. especially the red one " Raphael ".. I did this layout using a template. He got this costume the other when we went shopping with grandma and I think would have slept in it if I let him.. ha ha!!
He watches the DVD over and over again and thinks that he is Raphael..

Meeting

Today something made me stop and think that I can't believe this is happening already.. Where has the time gone??
Tonight Adam and I are going to a Kindy information evening for Sam, for next year. I can't believe that 4 years has already passed and he will be starting school next year. He is so looking forward to going to school to " play with all the kids..", he is a real social butterfly like me.. ha ha ha!!

Playing with Photoshop

WOWSERS.... I am pleased with my photoshop efforts today.. I have been playing around with turning my photos Black and white, and I think they turned out Super Dooper, if i don't say so myself.... ha ha ha !!

Do Not Disturb..

This layout was done using what is called a "Quick page".. which is where you just add a photo to the layout that has been designed by someone else.. This QP is called Tool Shed and was created by CT STeph.
I think it is such a classic photo.. ha ha ha.. They are both sitting there reading one of Adam's Mountain Bike magazines!!

The Pool got it's First workout...

With the weather temperature hitting 37 degrees yesterday it was a great chance to let the boys have their first swim in the pool.. Sam has been itching to go swimming in it since we moved in, so it was great to see the excitement on his face when it finally happened.. ..( however, he has done nothing but ask to go swimming every five minutes all weekend... lets hope the novelty wears off soon... ha ha ha!!!)

Bring on the Sunshine..

The best thing about the Sunshine is that I can get the boys outside to burn off some of the infinite energy that they just seem to have.. Yesterday we went to the Bayswater park and had a play, then took the bikes for a ride. It was such a great morning spent with Lesley, Reuben and Keira.

After a play we had a picnic morning tea under the trees..

Using Templates

Here a few quick layouts i did using 3 different templates. It is the same as using a sketch if you were paper scrapping. They aren't my best efforts, but I haven't done any scrapping for such a long time, at least it is something..ha ha!

I love this Season

Does anyone love the beginning of this season as much as I do??

Nic's new bike..

Here is a few photos of Nic on his new bike.. Thanks to Mum and Dad who bought it for him.. ( a very early birthday prezzie..) He is slowly getting the hang of it!!

You may have noticed the black eye that Nic has!! OUCH... the poor little guy was running and tripped out the back and landed head first into our outside wooden table and chairs..

Here are a few photos of the boys helping Adam build their new sandpit, out the back.. Hopefully it will be finished by next weekend..

Hopefully I will have a much quieter week this week.. things are just way to hectic and I think my body is saying... Kris would you just slow down!!!

Jolliffe's Come to Stay..

Well it has been a great couple of days.. My cousin Tania and her 3 kids ( Sarah, Ash and Mitch)came to stay at our house for 3 days.. Sam absolutely loved having them here to play with. We don't get to see them as much as i would like.. which might be a good thing because i think if Tan lived in Perth we would forever be having cuppas at each others house..

On Thursday we took all the kids to the show. It was such a good day and Sam was most excited about wearing his new TMNT t-shirt..ha ha..

I took Nic on the little truck roller-coaster.. He liked most of it but got a little teary towards the end and wanted to get off.

We spent today playing out the back.. It was such a lovely day here.

They have now gone home and I know Sam for one will miss them.. Can't wait to go down and stay with them soon..
