Mother's Day Picnic

The Morning started with pancakes cooked by Adam and Sam , which were great!...
We then went to Whiteman park for a Picnic Lunch with both my family and Adam's family. It was a really lovely day!

Grandad took Sam on a little car, which he loved..

Sam loved the fact that there were so many aunties and uncles to play Soccer with and go to the Playground with.

A lovely photo of Adam's Mum and Dad..

It's been a very busy day, and we are all very tired, but I'm so grateful to have these beautiful boys in my life and I Love them so much. xx

Happy Mother's Day

You are such a special person in my life and i am so lucky to have you help me with Sam and Nic. We have become more than just Mother and Daughter we have become Best friends.

I finally decided that it was pitiful that i hadn't scrapped with paper for ages, so i got out my stuff today and made a huge mess on the kitchen bench..( which i now have to tidy up..Grrr) but i was able to do 2 layouts. Sonya had given us some Twiddleybitz pieces to scrap with, so here are the 2 layouts using some of them..

Free Digital Classes

Jessica Sprague is offering free Hybrid and Digital classes over at her blog to celebrate National scrap booking day. So if you have been interested in the layouts that i have done, maybe you could do these 2 classes for free and decide if you want to learn more... I promise you, you will!!

Yesterday my friend Lesley and I took the boys for a ride on their bikes down to the park. Sam just loved the fact that he was able to ride on the footpath instead of around the backyard...LOL.. He is very excited to go again..
Well i am heading down to the shop today to finish off my layouts for the June / July class roster and then I will be back there tonight to work at the Moonlight crop, and for those of you who haven't seen enough of me down there, I'll be back tomorrow to teach the beginners classes...LOL
Have a great day!!

Songbird Avenue

I came across this great Digital scrapping website ~ Songbird Avenue ~ and loved the April kit they have there. It has been designed by Ali Edwards and decided I just had to have it...LOL.. I am also supporting Autism Speaks by purchasing this kit.. I love the blues and brown tones of the kit. Here is a layout i did this afternoon using some of it's features.. So much more to use and explore with, but it's a start..

Everyday Moments

I was reading Jessica Sprague's Blog over the weekend and came across this little gem of a quote..
"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are.
Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart.
Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow.
Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so.
One day I shall dig my nails into the earth,
or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut,
or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return."
~Mary Jean Irion
..and i went through my photos to find the everyday photos that i have taken of the boys, all the incidental moments that i don't want to forget.. i only got as far as January this year and i already had 11 photos..LOL... so I thought i better leave it there...
